Whew, is it May already!? The first part of this year has flown by for us as we prepped for our wedding at the end of April, and I just realized we haven’t shared our travel plans for the year yet!!
As you know, we rang in the New Year in Iceland, and then spent a weekend in a different Central American country each month January through March, visiting Belize, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
In late March Tim and I had our bachelor/bachelorette parties (he went to Colorado, I went to Vegas), and then went to Virginia in April for our wedding!
Also in April, I was a runner up in a writing competition hosted by World Nomads, a trip insurance company, and most recently had a short article about our wedding published on the Virginia State Parks blog (more to come on both of those items).
Needless to say, it’s been an incredible year so far. But, as always, the best is yet to come! Here’s what’s on deck for the rest of the year:
May – Richmond, Virginia; Portugal and Azores islands for our honeymoon
June – Yosemite National Park; Camp No Counselors in Michigan
July – Rhode Island; Boston; Northern Wisconsin; Charleston, SC; South Dakota (Sarah) and North Georgia Mountains (Tim)
August – Colorado
September – Cuyahoga Valley National Park & Cedar Point Amusement Park; Richmond, Virginia
November – Panama
December – Holiday vacation (TBD – it’ll be a surprise!)
