Austin, Texas is a good place to be if you like good BBQ – smothered in sauce and Fritos, this sandwich went perfectly with a Shiner Bock, brewer at Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas.
The day we visited this restaurant, we were hanging out with Tim’s very good friend from childhood, Eric, who lives a few hours from Austin. This spot, I wish I remembered its name, is located off the beaten path a bit, and while we were walking there we passed by some colorful (language-wise) graffiti and a tiny creek with a tinier little turtle – smaller than my thumb. Adorable!
