Try the World France Box

We’re trying out a new subscription box called Try the World, where every other month we receive a box of 7 items selected by experts of cuisine of various cultures. In addition to the food, they also send a culture guide with fun facts about the county and suggested recipes using your new items.

Our first box features items from France, one of my favorite places, and curated by Michelin-rated restaurant Le Diane’s Chef Christophe Schmitt!

For our French breakfast, we bought a baguette, brie cheese and dried sausage to pair with the Palais des Thes green tea, delicious buttery La Mere Poulard cookies from Mont Saint-Michel, Charles Antona apricot honey jam from Corsica, and Domaine des Vignes mustard from, where else, Dijon. For dessert we indulged in the delicious Maison d’Armorine caramels from Brittany.

We also recently used the herb blend Un Brin Sauvage (also from Mont Saint-Michel) to season stir fried potatoes, finished off with Le Saunier de Camargo salt from flats along the French Mediterranean coast.

Delicious!!
